Luke Swanson - Principal
Mr. Swanson has served as an assistant principal for the Highlander community since 2019, where he built strong partnerships with students, staff and families. Previous positions included serving as the assistant principal of athletics and activities, high school teacher and student activities director at Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.
Mr. Swanson is currently pursuing a specialist in educational leadership degree from Western Michigan University. He earned a master’s degree in educational technology from Michigan State University; a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary social sciences, law and society from Michigan State University; and postgraduate certificates. He and his wife Hannah are proud parents to three children, Everett, Emersyn and Ellory.
Andrea Noel - Assistant Principal
Mrs. Noel joined Rochester Adams as an Assistant Principal in 2024. Prior to coming to Rochester Community Schools, she served at Dakota High School as a Social Studies teacher, cheer coach, and administrator.
Mrs. Noel has a master’s degree in K-12 Administration from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in Social Relations and Policy from Michigan State University. She and her husband Mark have two children- Mia and Luke, and two dogs- Leo and Henry.

Alexander Welsh - Assistant Principal
Mr. Welsh joined Rochester Adams as an Assistant Principal in 2025. Prior to coming to Rochester Adams, he served at Van Hoosen Middle school as a Social Studies teacher & basketball coach.
Mr. Welsh has a master’s degree in education leadership from Oakland University, and a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Oakland University. He and his wife Shannon have two children- Callum and Theodore, and one dog named Lucy.
